Let me just start by saying that riding in SoCal is awesome! I lived there for a few years and rode many twisties, but the roads and loops and Caitlin and Dave took us one were amazing…..and all new to me! The team at Edge of Adventure was top notch, knowledgeable, flexible, friendly and super relaxed. All that you would want from a guiding/touring team and more! I will definitely be back and can recommend to anyone!!
Awesome routing, both tarmac and gravel, put together by Caitlin of Edge of Adventure Tours for 4 days of guided motorcycle tours in Southern California. In my opinion, she and Dave, her talented tour guide, delivered the riding experience I was looking for. Caitlin and Dave our guide have put together amazing routing for us. It’s all here in Southern California for those in love with canyon riding. Check out this company if you are in the Southern California area. They will not disappoint!
Had an absolute blast with Edge of Adventure’s R1250 GS. The rental process was quick and easy and the bike was brand new. Caitlin is very responsive and friendly, plus she has a ton of great recommendations for stops along riding routes! Would absolutely recommend to friends and family!
Our family had a fantastic time with Caitlin on an all day 4×4 tour of Anza Borrego Dessert State Park. Communication was excellent before the tour. She answered questions and provided some options of what we could do. We had a nice drive from San Diego and stopped for scenic views from Mt. Laguna. We did a hike to pictographs and scenic views. Lunch was tasty- shrimp tacos, rice, chips and salsa and guacamole. Next we explored a mud cave. We enjoyed some off road driving on the Diablo drop off. We wrapped up our day seeing the metal sculptures in Borrego Springs. It was a super fun day and a great way to explore the desert. I would highly recommend taking this tour.
Caitlin was the best tour guide ever. Kind, knowledgeable, helpful and super much fun to hang out with. The GS motorbikes were in perfect condition. I actually went twice because the value was so high. Highly recommended.
Fantastic day and ride with Caitlin! The motorcycles were in fantastic condition and ready to go on time. She is a wonderful guide who knows San Diego and the surrounding area well! I’d rent from her again in a heartbeat!
Caitlin has created a unique tour and guide service that is quite flexible. She goes out of her way to provide a range of support all the way from accompanying her guests on multi day tours via motorcycling in the backcountry including hotels, to just providing guidance and background support. Sometimes customers, such as myself, just want logistics support, hauling a motorcycle from a pickup to a drop off point. Caitlin can do that. Sometimes we customers could use help in planning and booking a multi-day trip. Caitlin can do that too. I traveled for a day with Caitlin a few weeks ago in Sedona and loved it. I expect to need her logistics and planning help frequently again in the future.
I had a great overnight 4×4 offroad truck tour with Caitlin in the desert outside of San Diego! She knew all the fun, scenic trails, and made me delicious shrimp tacos because I’m a vegetarian! I just needed to bring clothes- she had all the cooking and camping gear in her truck ready to go.
